Role: (Mainframe/ADABAS) Application Support Analyst
Work Location: Bismarck, ND (Remote)
Contract: 12+ months
Job Description:
The Client is looking for an Application Support Analyst to provide system analysis and support for IT applications, ensuring smooth operations and assisting with enhancements as needed. This role focuses on application troubleshooting, user support, and coordination between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Required Skills and Years of Experience:
- 5 + years' experience in application support and system analysis or related IT roles.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications and the data workflows that connect them.
- Proficiency in mainframe technologies, including ADABAS database management and NATURAL programming.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications and complex data workflows.
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills for data queries and reporting.
- Familiarity with batch processing, job scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M), and data integration processes.
- Understanding of incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy)
Soft Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience consulting or providing operational support for a state system.
