Role Overview

The Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) is a strategic leadership role responsible for end-to-end delivery of technical solutions supporting retirement recordkeeping operations. This includes managing cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and driving digital transformation initiatives for recordkeeping platform enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Ownership

  • Oversee the execution of recordkeeping platform-related projects, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery within budget.
  • Manage dependencies across multiple streams (application development, infrastructure, data migration).

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary liaison between business teams, technology partners, and vendors.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Agile & Governance

  • Implement Agile practices (Scrum ceremonies, backlog prioritization) while maintaining delivery accountability.
  • Ensure adherence to PMO processes, audits, and compliance standards.

Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve delivery bottlenecks.

Team Leadership

  • Coordinate resources including Business Analysts, Developers, QA, and offshore teams.
  • Mentor team members and foster continuous improvement.

Technical Oversight

  • Guide integration with upstream/downstream systems (e.g., data feeds, APIs).
  • Ensure security and compliance for sensitive financial data.

Required Skills

  • Domain Expertise :Understanding of financial services recordkeeping systems and retirement services workflows.
  • Technical Skills :Knowledge of SDLC, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred). Familiarity with data integration tools and ETL processes.
  • Project Management : Proficiency in Agile methodologies, Jira, Confluence. Experience with risk management and delivery metrics.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms.

Education

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience

  • 8+ years in IT delivery or technical project management.
  • Prior experience in financial services or retirement recordkeeping systems (OMNI highly preferred).

Certifications

  • Agile/Scrum Master certification.
  • PMP or equivalent project management credential (nice to have).
