SAP SCM - eSPP (Extended Service Parts Planning) Consultant
Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP SCM - eSPP (Extended Service Parts Planning) Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in supply chain management and SAP systems to optimize service parts planning processes for our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that the right parts are available at the right time to meet customer demand, while also minimizing excess inventory costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP SCM, particularly with the eSPP module, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including logistics, warehousing, and customer service to develop and implement strategies that enhance service level agreements and drive operational efficiency. Your role will involve not only technical expertise but also collaboration with key stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable SAP solutions. As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, you will also be expected to lead training sessions and workshops, educating team members on best practices in service parts planning and the effective use of SAP tools. Responsibilities
- Optimize service parts planning processes using SAP eSPP module.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Develop, configure and implement SAP solutions to improve service parts availability.
- Conduct regular analysis of inventory levels and make recommendations for adjustments.
- Facilitate training sessions for teams on SAP eSPP best practices and functionality.
- Monitor and report on service performance metrics and suggest improvements.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving SAP SCM related issues for service parts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as an SAP SCM Consultant with a focus on eSPP.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and inventory management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Experience with SAP implementations, upgrades, and system integrations.
- Excellent communication and training skills to convey complex concepts clearly.
