Job Details
We are seeking an Automation QA Engineer to join a high-performing development team supporting secure, large-scale computerized testing environments.
The primary focus of this role is to build and maintain automated test frameworks using Java, Eclipse, and Selenium, while modernizing legacy automated test suites. You will also integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and ensure compliance with federal security standards.
Key Responsibilities-
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Java, Eclipse, and Selenium WebDriver

Convert legacy automated test scripts into a modern Java/Selenium-based framework using AI-assisted tools and manual refactoring

Design and implement automated test suites for:

Web applications
-
APIs
-
Database validation
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
Execute automated regression, integration, and performance testing in cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
Collaborate with cross-functional development teams in a matrix organization
Build and maintain test data management strategies and automated reporting dashboards
Perform security validation testing aligned with federal security standards (NIST, RMF)
Support load and performance testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
Document automation frameworks, processes, and best practices
Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain testing artifacts in Jira and Confluence
Mentor junior team members on automation best practices and emerging technologies

U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

3 5 years of experience in test automation and quality assurance

Strong proficiency in Java and Eclipse IDE

Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver

Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines
-
Knowledge of Agile/DevOps methodologies and version control systems (Git)

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)

Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional teams

Ability to obtain Security+ certification within 3 6 months of hire

Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Experience with TestComplete and automation migration projects

Experience with AI-assisted code conversion tools

Familiarity with federal security compliance frameworks

Experience with API testing (REST Assured, Postman)

Knowledge of database testing and SQL

Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)

Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code
