SDET

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an SDET in Jersey City, NJ.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
* 6+ years of hands-on software design and development experience as Test Engineer
* A strong test automation developer who has a greater understanding of the tools to build test automation
* Experienced in Serenity Cucumber Framework, Selenium, Playwright or Cypress
* Experienced in Core Java and Java technologies
* Experience with Capital Markets or Brokerage systems, especially order management
* Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, and uDeploy
* Background in KDB+ or other time-series databases/vector databases
* Familiar with Linux environments and Unix shell scripting
* Solid understanding of the FIX protocol and FIX engines
* Familiarity with AI developer assist tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot)
* Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
* Self-driven innovation and comfort working with leadership
* Ability to understand sophisticated, end-to-end systems and identify performance, scalability, or resilience bottlenecks
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a collaborative team environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
