Are you a skilled NOC Operator with a knack for Cisco network troubleshooting? We're looking for a proactive professional to join our team in St. Petersburg, FL, for a 6-month contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide critical Level 1 support for our network infrastructure.
Monitor and Respond: Keep a vigilant eye on dashboards like SolarWinds and other consoles, responding to alerts to prevent outages.
Network & System Support: Provide essential Level 1 support for Cisco Infrastructure, VMware, and other critical systems.
Troubleshoot & Resolve: Identify and troubleshoot system malfunctions, initiate corrective actions, and escalate issues as needed. You'll log into routers, understand commands, and resolve problems efficiently.
Automation & Efficiency: Contribute to improving operational efficiency by driving scripting and automation efforts.
Document & Communicate: Maintain detailed problem logs and communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors.
4-5 years of dedicated NOC experience, with a strong emphasis on network troubleshooting (not data center experience).
Proven expertise in Cisco Network troubleshooting; you should be comfortable logging into routers and executing commands.
Experience monitoring system functions (network and servers) using dashboards.
Familiarity with SolarWinds Network Management Systems.
Understanding of how a NOC operates, including Level 1 server experience.
Proficiency in documentation, with excellent communication skills.
Familiarity with ServiceNow for ticketing.
CCNA Certification is a plus.
