This is an opportunity to join an established, profitable and very rapidly growing semiconductor capital equipment manufacturer. Our client has developed systems that are critical for the manufacturing of the semiconductors used in Electric Vehicles and Clean Energy Systems (solar, wind. etc.), among others. These markets are expanding exponentially and driving our client's growth.
Although they’ve been in business over 20 years, the Company is still relatively small and offers the advantages of minimum bureaucracy, friendly environment and significant advancement opportunities.
Several years ago the Company had the vision to anticipate the requirements of the above markets and develop systems specifically targeting them. Customer acceptance has been exceptional. They are now in need of a Test Architect - someone whose technical and market knowledge and vision will provide product development with strategic and technical leadership. The Test Technology Architect will also be the technical face of the company at industry events and with customers.
TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION, YOU WILL HAVE:
A minimum of 10 years in a customer facing technical role relating to automatic test. These roles may be: Application Engineer, Application Engineering Manager or Product Specialist, for semiconductor test or in-circuit test.
- Your experience is as a HARDWARE engineer and/or test application engineer. NOT A SOFTWARE ENGINEER.
Experience and comfort engaging with customers’ technical personnel to architect solutions for future semiconductor requirements.
Experience and comfort making presentations to customers and at industry events.
A solid understanding of: Low-frequency analog devices. Thermal control. Massively parallel testing. SiC and GaN technology. You MUST have experience with device technology/physics and testing.
