Join a dynamic marketing team as a Global Events Director, where you'll lead the strategic planning and execution of a diverse portfolio of global events. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact through innovative event management and experiential marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning and execution of a variety of events, including internal meetings, industry conferences, and client hospitality, across multiple formats and scales.
  • Manage event marketing timelines and deliverables, such as collateral, invitations, and lead generation materials.
  • Report on event ROI and implement strategies for continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to negotiate terms and enhance event experiences.
  • Manage the Company Store's premium item experience, working with vendors and design teams to enhance offerings.
  • Utilize event technology to manage pages, registrations, and virtual platforms, providing comprehensive reporting.
  • Innovate event strategies to engage audiences before, during, and after events.

Skills

  • Extensive experience in event management, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong ability to set goals, define success metrics, and enhance an event portfolio.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven experience working with trade and marketing vendors.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to optimize departmental processes.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with attendee management systems and various event technologies.
  • Strong sense of hospitality and passion for service.
  • Experience in budgeting and leading strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and maintain a sense of urgency.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time, including potential international travel.
