Job Description

As a Database Management & Analytics Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration of platforms including support and maintenance, supporting development teams, and process improvement.
This is a Contract-to-hire role, including full benefits
Location: Onsite or hybrid in Madison or Onalaska WI or remote within the U.S.
Salary: $91k-$105k

  • Reporting, analytics, and data management platform software development, configuration, upgrades, performance monitoring, remediation, and improvements
  • Primary liaison with the managed services providers, infrastructure, application development, and security teams
  • Establish and maintain policies and procedures relating to reporting, analytics, and data management platform security and account access
  • Consult and support BI and ETL Developers and Data Analysts
  • Enhance team documentation, aiding in training and improving off-hour support
  • SME on reporting, analytics, and data management platform architecture, system configuration, and administration

Required Skills:

  • Database administration experience with MS SQL Server and Snowflake (5+ years)
  • 3+ years’ of experience with managed service cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
  • Exposure to Netezza, MySQL, and Oracle as an admin or engineer a plus
  • Exposure to ETL, workload automation, and scheduling a plus
  • Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery nice to have
  • Experience working in Windows Server and Unix environments
  • Experience with Business Objects, Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI or other similar tools
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows and Unix Scripting like Batch, VBScript, PowerShell, and Shell
