Job Description
You will join a development team supporting a statewide ERP system. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining SAP applications, primarily within Human Capital Management (HCM).
The role involves ABAP programming, configuration of enterprise and personnel structures, WRICEF development, data updates (LSMW/BDC), and collaboration with functional/business teams to deliver robust solutions.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field; OR 10+ years' equivalent experience in application development
- 4+ years SAP HCM functional experience in a professional environment
- Strong ABAP programming skills
- Experience with HR cluster tables, dynamic actions, and SAP Portal
- Hands-on experience with LSMW/BDC programming (session and call transaction)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Preferred Skills:
- Functional knowledge of SAP HCM and SuccessFactors
- Experience with SAP Workflow (1+ year)
- Familiarity with SAP Mail Services via standard API
- General understanding of accounting processes
- Knowledge of enterprise-level ERP applications
Daily Duties:
- Code, test, and implement ABAP programs and modifications in HCM modules
- Configure enterprise and personnel structures, organizational plans, and structures
- Perform data retrievals using SAP tools (ad hoc query, report painter, SAP tables)
- Support WRICEF elements (Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
- Apply OSS notes, updates, and fixes; conduct unit testing and documentation
- Provide after-hours SAP support as needed
