GIS Analyst
(Remote – Akron or Greensburg Preferred) | Contract-to-Hire

W2H Pay rate: $40-$36

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain maps, web GIS apps, and reports using ESRI tools and automation scripts.
  • Enhance the Transmission Asset Mapping Interface (TAMI) web app and expand GIS functionalities.
  • Manage multiple GIS projects, interpret engineering drawings, and provide mapping solutions.
  • Troubleshoot ESRI platforms (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Online) and ensure data accuracy.
  • Train team members, promote GIS best practices, and support cross-team collaboration.
  • Explore emerging ESRI technologies to improve workflows and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years in GIS analysis or mapping.
  • Proficiency with ESRI tools (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, Portal, ArcGIS Online).
  • Skilled in Python and Arcade scripting for automation.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Experience with utility or transmission infrastructure is a plus.
