    Job Description

Analog Circuit Design for signal measurement and digital circuit design is a must have. STmicro Processors is a plus, motion control experience is a plus, and efinix FPGA is important to have.

The Electrical Engineer will work directly with R&D during product development to create schematics and layout for embedded digital circuits along with motor control and analog measurements. Specifically, may create embedded designs with digital signals such as CAN, I2C, UART, SPI, and Ethernet along with Brushless DC motor control and high-speed analog signal amplification and capture. Will also create schematics, layout, perform board bring up, hardware testing, quoting, and writing specifications and test reports. Will work on a team and communicate design intent and rationale, aid software engineers with debugging, and estimate timelines for project planning.

In product transition to production, develop Assembly / Test procedures, jigs and fixtures to improve manufacturing process and reduce cost. Transition product to manufacturing, troubleshoot and maintain communication with R&D, work on Corrective and preventive action processes to maintain adherence to design specification. Assure all changes are compliant with design intent and traceability and compliance to specifications are maintained.

Under limited supervision, and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and Bolt Medical procedures and guidelines, the responsibilities of the position include performing the following activities:
