Description: Our client is currently seeking a Business Analyst & Project Manager
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):

  • 6+ years of work experience in program or project management, support regular status updates
  • Includes 2-3 years of business analysis experience in supporting large scale enterprise technology initiatives
  • Experience seeing a project through conclusion
  • Passion for a system oriented approach to business process design
  • Ability to think through issues with strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication, ability to influence groups outside of your organization
  • Ability to work in a team and form good rapport with various teams and members in a short span of time

This position will be part of the Enterprise Privacy Office supporting the delivery of California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) compliance requirement across . You will deliver this regulatory requirement through the implementation of the strategic Data Governance platform solution. You will have exposure to learn and apply DCAM (Data Capability Assessment Model) framework to harvest the power of modern data management practice and enable the protection of privacy information for consumers. Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Effectively facilitate the exchanges between privacy legal team and broader teams to ensure clear understanding of the CPRA regulation and legal interpretation through the use of JIRA.
  • Support the development of the Enterprise Privacy Business Architecture and use it to drive the mobilization of CPRA efforts
  • Support the mapping from CPRA legal requirements to Data Management Objectives
  • Facilitate conversations to synthesize business / functional requirements
  • Work with Data Architecture team to ensure meta model design meets CPRA legal requirements
  • Liaise with Technical Architecture team to define the meta data flow and develop its phased adoption, including the support of redesign of the existing processes around the meta data
  • Work with appropriate divisional Point of Contacts (POCs) to coordinate requirements, designs, and implementation tracking to manage dependencies
  • Coordinate with Data Governance team to ensure the needed data management capabilities required by CPRA are prioritized accordingly with IBM Cloud Pak 4 Data team
  • Translate project issues into impacts to empower senior stakeholders to make informative decisions
  • Support PM and impacted stakeholders in various tasks, e.g. project work breakdown, RAID tracking, JIRA tracking & dashboard, status reporting through emails, PPT presentations, or status calls
  • Identify obstacles and roadblocks and proactively advocate approaches to overcome them.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related technical field. LOGISTICS: M-F 9-5
