Notes: The position is a combination of onsite and remote Description:The General COTS Application Functional Developer Senior will be responsible for project management, analysis, and documentation of business needs, strategy, and methods development, and application development Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Responsible for creating project plans, schedules, and project timelineConduct workshops between global project teams and drive the team to an acceptable solutionExtensive experience in defining project scope, requirements, and deliverablesExtensive experience in the documentation of various phases of IT projectsExtensive experience in creating agendas, minutes, correspondence, documentation, and presentationsProvides direct interface with the business organization to understand business needsTranslate business needs into ICT projectsDefine Project Scope, goals, and deliverablesDocument Business Requirements Documents (BRD)Collaborate with the business team to assign project priorityDocument the current As-Is business process and proactively suggest a To-Be processPerform a gap analysisDetermine if custom development/configuration is neededCreate a high-level solution design document for the development team and ensure that the solution is aligned with the high-level requirements

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science requiredMinimum 5 years of IT project management experienceExperience creating project plans, schedules, and project timeline VB Programming Experience: Proficient in Designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining applicationsHands-On Software troubleshooting experience and user interface experienceProficient in documenting application processes for future maintenance and upgradesDatabase Experience: Proficient in writing and analyzing SQL Queries; Proficient to work in Sybase and UBD database environmentsMainframe and UNX Experience: Understand VB application interface with mainframe; Proficient in UNIX commands and shell scripts Preferred Requirements:Automotive Manufacturing IT experienceProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferredSharePoint Administration understanding Who We AreThe Stefanini Group is a global provider of offshore, onshore, and nearshore outsourcing, IT digital consulting, systems integration, application, and strategic staffing services to Fortune 1000 enterprises around the world.
