Role: Vendor & Financial Governance Manager
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months C2H
Responsibilities
Vendor Governance & Coordination
Establish a centralized inventory of all technology vendors and contracts with renewal dates,
terms, and ownership details.
Coordinate with Procurement and FP&A on vendor renewals, extensions, and amendments to
ensure accuracy and timely action.
Facilitate vendor reviews and comparisons ( bake-oQs ) for key technology vendors to ensure
best value and performance.
Partner with Procurement, Infrastructure, Engineering, Architecture, and Product teams to align
vendor choices to modernization priorities and business needs.
Financial Governance & Reporting
Track and reconcile budget, forecast, and actuals across technology capital and operating spend.
Investigate cost variances, missed accruals, renewal discrepancies, document root causes, and corrective actions.
Produce concise monthly reporting for Technology Leadership, summarizing spend renewals,
risks, and savings opportunities.
Partner with FP&A to validate financial data and ensure consistent categorization across systems.
Contract & Renewal Oversight
Serve as the single point of coordination for renewal tracking and contract visibility across
Technology.
Identify and flag renewals 6+ months in advance to allow proper business and technical due
diligence.
Maintain clear documentation and version control for all contract records.
Process & Tooling Improvement
Define and implement standard processes for vendor intake, approval, renewal, and payment
coordination.
Collaborate with FP&A and Procurement to streamline handoQs and remove redundant steps.
Recommend automation or tooling to manage contracts, renewal pipelines and financial
reporting.
Strategic Support
Provide spend and vendor insights that inform modernization and platform technology decisions.
Support Cloud Engineering and FinOps on tracking and optimizing cloud related spend
Contribute vendor and spend data to leadership dashboards to enhance visibility and
accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in Technology vendor management, procurement, financial governance, financial operations, or contract management within a large enterprise environment
Deep understanding of technology vendor ecosystems, including software and SaaS licensing
models, enterprise agreements, renewals, and cost optimization strategies
Proven ability to partner across Technology, FP&A, and Procurement to align spend management, forecasting, and renewal readiness
Experience building or improving vendor governance frameworks, tracking systems, or renewal
processes that enhance transparency and control
Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools; experience with contract management or ITFM platforms
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail
Ability to synthesize complex financial and technical information into clear, actionable insights for leadership
Comfortable navigating both technical and business environments to drive clarity, accountability, and data driven decision making.
