Title: Account Executive
Location: Portland Oregon 97205 / Hybrid
Must be willing to travel 50 percent of the time throughout Oregon and Washington
Employment Type: Full Time Direct Hire (no c2c or sponsorship available)
About the Role
Talent Groups is hiring an Account Executive for a software company focused on cloud based ERP and payment solutions for local government agencies. This role focuses on hunting for new opportunities in small and medium sized municipalities while also managing and growing existing accounts.
You will own the full sales cycle, build strong relationships with government decision makers, and position modern ERP and financial solutions that support transparency, efficiency, and community focused operations.
What You Will Do
- Drive New Logo sales and achieve quarterly and annual targets
Build and manage a healthy pipeline through consistent outreach
Conduct discovery, present product solutions, and lead demos
Respond to RFPs and lead contract negotiations
Collaborate with sales engineering, leadership, marketing, and delivery teams
Maintain accurate Salesforce records and produce reliable forecasts
Support trade shows and industry events
Manage existing accounts and identify upsell and migration opportunities
What You Bring
- Two to four plus years of New Logo sales experience, ideally with ERP or financial software
Proven success meeting or exceeding quota
Strong discovery, presentation, and relationship building skills
Experience selling to government agencies is preferred
Strong prospecting skills and effective time management
Experience using Salesforce
