Job Title: SWET-Software Engineer in Test HYBRID ROLE (5 Days a Month) Location: Durham, NC or Boston, MA or Smithfield, RI Duration: Long term

Job Description
Looking for a JS and Cypress SDET - Boston, RI, or NC only - hybrid scheduled

Team: Experience team is in charge or updating/modernizing legacy applications. This person will be on an agile/fast-paced team with the goal of improving customer experience and interface. This role is responsible for all Software Development Lifecycle improvements/changes for designing, developing, testing, and deployment.

Top Skills:
Experience with BDD automation/testing in Cucumber Selenium framework
Cypress/GraphQL
Need to have experience testing API’s (base-level of knowledge is fine)
**Emphasis on front-end/UI testing**

Nice to Have:
Implementing best practices
DevOps exposure

The Role
Looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test who is passionate about cutting edge technologies, frameworks, and design patterns. You will be joining a squad of engineers focused on Financial Planning. You will be responsible for performing all Software Development Lifecycle activities such as designing, developing, testing and deployment with a primary focus on testing automation, framework, and traceability. You will have hands on experience working on tech stack which includes Javascript, Typescript, Angular, Cypress, GraphQL and similar. Overall, you will have an appetite for learning, evaluating, and recommending new technologies. Software Engineers are pride themselves on their experience, leadership, and ability to establish relationships across teams.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or closely related)
• Hands on experience with web based and API based automation tool sets such as: Cypress, Playwright, and REST Assured (Cypress Preferred)
• Proven experience in at least one of the technologies: Node.js, Java, JavaScript
• Understanding and/or experience with DevOps/Pipelines (Jenkins, uDeploy, LWC, ACID, Data Buffet, etc.)
• Proven experience with AWS Services (Lambda, S3, RDS, Dynamo, etc.)
• Strong demonstrated experience in delivering software solutions in an Agile environment
• Passionate about crafting the best end-to-end customer experience
• Certifications in AWS or similar cloud platforms are a plus
• Creative, Innovative and Problem-Solving skills are a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills needed for agile team
