Job Details
Requirements:
- 7 or more years of experience managing complex technical IT projects.
- Proficiency in the PMI PMBOK framework and methodologies.
- Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Experience with Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience with managing project risks using a RAID+ Log.
- Experience with budgeting, vendor management, and business process reengineering.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage the complete project lifecycle for the LIMS transition initiative.
- Develop, obtain sign-off, and execute the Project Management Plan.
- Manage, coordinate, and establish priorities for planning, design, testing, and implementation phases.
- Track progress, manage scope changes, and take corrective action to maintain schedule and budget.
- Develop and distribute periodic status reports and project metrics to all stakeholders.
- Anticipate issues, manage project risks, and facilitate discussions between IT and vendors.
- Mentor less experienced project managers and ensure compliance with PMO methodology.
