Job Summary:

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the organization s information technology systems, infrastructure, and staff. This role ensures that technology resources are aligned with business goals, maintain system reliability and security, and support smooth operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement IT strategies that align with business objectives.

Identify opportunities to improve technology processes and efficiency.

Plan and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value.

2. Infrastructure & Systems Management

Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and applications.

Manage system upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery processes.

Ensure maximum uptime and availability of IT systems.

Monitor performance of hardware and software and resolve technical issues.

3. Cybersecurity & Compliance

Implement and enforce security protocols, data protection, and access control measures.

Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments.

Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) and company policies.

4. Team Leadership & Vendor Management

Supervise and mentor IT staff, including system administrators, network engineers, and helpdesk personnel.

Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance.

Manage vendor relationships, evaluate new technologies, and negotiate service agreements.

5. Support & Troubleshooting

Oversee helpdesk operations to ensure timely resolution of user issues.

Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and IT policies.

Provide training and support to employees on IT tools and best practices.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master s preferred).

Experience:

7+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Proven experience managing networks, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and enterprise systems.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and cybersecurity.

Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems, database management, and IT service management (ITSM) tools.

Cloud computing and backup/recovery systems expertise.

Soft Skills:

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Strategic thinker with strong project management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

System uptime and reliability.

IT project delivery within budget and deadlines.

Employee satisfaction with IT support.

Compliance with IT security standards and audit results.
