RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire an Electrical Engineer - Controls and Hardware Design in Phoenix, Arizona (AZ).
Summary:
The Controls and Hardware Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of control circuitry for semiconductor equipment. The candidate will be working with a team of Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Embedded Engineers in an office/lab environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience performing the essential job functions above
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is a must
* Must be able to design electronic boards containing microcontrollers, ADCs, DACs, analog, and digital circuitry
* Experienced in schematic entry using OrCAD Capture or a similar tool
* Familiar with embedded systems environments
* Experience with TI's Sitara processors
* Experience with Analog Device's Blackfin processor
* Experience with Xilinx's Spartan FPGA
* Experienced in digital and analog design
* Experienced in using circuit testing tools, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
* Will work closely with electrical, mechanical, software, embedded designers to develop, and execute circuit designs
* Analog and Digital circuit design/simulation
* Electrical circuit simulation using OrCAD Pspice or similar SW
* Ability to troubleshoot Analog, Digital, and Mixed Signals at the Hardware Level
* Semiconductor manufacturing equipment/industry experience
* Control hardware design for auto RF matching networks or RF generators
* Candidate must live within a 1hr commute of the office from which they will be working; Candidates outside this distance must be willing to relocate prior to commencing employment
* Close attention to detail is a must
