About the Role
The Product Operations team at Uber plays a crucial role in ensuring the development and rollout of products that drive the business forward. As a Product Operations Senior Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Product, and Marketing to identify new business opportunities and prioritize product initiatives. You will be pivotal in ensuring that Uber maintains its position as the safest and most trusted transportation choice, supporting both riders and drivers with empathy and care.
What the Candidate Will Do:
  • Define and implement operating structures and processes to execute product strategy effectively.
  • Lead a community of strategic leaders to drive impactful business outcomes.
  • Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Ensure alignment of functional partners on key objectives for product launches.
  • Advise product teams on global feasibility and user experience throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Develop comprehensive product rollout plans and project-manage implementation across global markets.
  • Collaborate with legal, tax, policy, and support teams to prepare products for launch.
  • Track and analyze core business metrics related to product performance.
  • Identify and address key challenges and opportunities post-launch to drive product improvements.
  • Surface key insights from business data to inform strategic decisions.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in operations, business consulting, finance, or a related analytic role.
  • Deep understanding of user experience principles, supply and demand models and ability to use data to support decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills and large-scale project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working with tech teams in global projects or an international setting.
  • Ability to foster collaboration and facilitate teamwork across functions.
  • Strategic alignment skills, capable of uniting diverse stakeholders towards common goals.
  • Experience in the safety space is a plus.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$158,000 per year - USD$175,500 per year.
