Job Description
Summary: Seeking Mechanical Engineers with expertise in developing, analyzing, simulating, and building concepts for Sights and other Electro-Optical subsystems and components.
Job Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen
Must have a BS degree
Solid modeling experience using NX and Creo
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Teamcenter and Vis Mockup
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and analyze component designs and mounting provisions for various devices
Focus on mounting precise optical elements and subassemblies
Develop electro-mechanical mechanisms used in sighting systems
Work on Fire Control sensors including Hand Controllers, Gyros, Accelerometers, Periscopes, Auxiliary sights, Muzzle reference sensors
Ensure designs meet vehicle performance requirements including human factors, safety, environmental and mine blast requirements
Conduct material selection/analysis for commercial and military Electro-Optical system components
Perform detailed design of Electro-Optical custom components
Analyze the impact of modifying coatings and opto-mechanical features on performance
Engage in analysis & design tasks, drawing mark-ups, tolerance stacks, and generating source data for engineering changes
Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
