Mechanical Engineer

Summary: Seeking Mechanical Engineers with expertise in developing, analyzing, simulating, and building concepts for Sights and other Electro-Optical subsystems and components.

Job Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen

• Must have a BS degree

• Solid modeling experience using NX and Creo

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Teamcenter and Vis Mockup

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and analyze component designs and mounting provisions for various devices

• Focus on mounting precise optical elements and subassemblies

• Develop electro-mechanical mechanisms used in sighting systems

• Work on Fire Control sensors including Hand Controllers, Gyros, Accelerometers, Periscopes, Auxiliary sights, Muzzle reference sensors

• Ensure designs meet vehicle performance requirements including human factors, safety, environmental and mine blast requirements

• Conduct material selection/analysis for commercial and military Electro-Optical system components

• Perform detailed design of Electro-Optical custom components

• Analyze the impact of modifying coatings and opto-mechanical features on performance

• Engage in analysis & design tasks, drawing mark-ups, tolerance stacks, and generating source data for engineering changes

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
