E-7A Configuration and Data Management Engineer (Associate)

Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is currently looking for a Product Lifecycle Management Engineer (Associate) to join the USAF E-7A team located in Tukwila, WA. The selected candidate will join a
team of CMDM professionals performing a variety of PLM functions. The ideal candidate will have experience / practice in any of the following areas: assisting in hardware and software configuration
baselines, change processing, data releases/control, data analysis/processing, and models / model-based systems engineering.
Position Responsibilities:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires ship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
This position is 100% onsite.
This is a union represented position.

- Participates in the development and management, and performs limited analysis of
- process and product baselines of complex products
- Processes product changes and assists with the documentation and implementation of
- engineering technical program plans of limited scope and complexity
- Works under general direction to processes technically complete change packages in
- compliance with command media
- Participates/Assists in the development and implementation of Configuration and Data
- Management standards, processes, systems and tools
- Assists in processing supplier data, verifies compliance with contract requirements, and
- distributes to program teams
- Utilizes data gathered from customers to assist in the definition of Configuration and Data
- Management requirements for product hardware, software and engineering design data
- systems throughout the product lifecycle
- Gathers data to assist in the analysis of product trades/changes for change proposals
- Collects data for product and subsystem level technical design reviews and audits for new
- and derivative products

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred,
although not required, accreditation standard - 1+ years of related work experience
- 1+ years of experience as a Configuration Management & Production Integration Engineer
- or related engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- PLM experience on US military program
- Experience working with engineering teams
- Experience in working Models in Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering:
- Documentation and Analysis
