OCM and Operations Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile OCM (Organizational Change Management) Communications and Operations Manager to join our team. This dual-role position will focus on developing and executing a variety of communication artifacts to support organizational change initiatives while also managing key operational managerial tasks. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, detail-oriented project coordinator with experience in change management and operational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Organizational Change Management (OCM) Communications
  • Create and deliver clear, compelling, well designed messaging and visual content across various channels (email, newsletters, intranet, presentations, and social media).
  • Collaborate with leadership and project teams to design communication plans aligned with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Develop tools and resources to support change readiness, including FAQs, guides, and training materials.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communication strategies, adjusting as needed to drive engagement and understanding.

2. Operational Management
  • Support operational planning and coordination across teams, ensuring seamless execution of projects and initiatives.
  • Act as a point of contact for cross-functional collaboration, facilitating communication and alignment between departments.
  • Coordinate project schedules, and status reports for ongoing initiatives.
  • Identify potential risks or roadblocks and proactively develop solutions to maintain project momentum.
  • Ensure documentation and reporting of key operational processes and decisions for organizational transparency.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:
  • 3+ years of experience in communications, change management, or operational coordination roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience crafting messages for diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with OCM frameworks (e.g., PROSCI ADKAR, or similar).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with everyday project management and communication tools (e.g., MS Office Suite, Teams, Slack, SharePoint, or similar).

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Vyond, Canva, Articulate 360 or similar tools.
  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci Change Management Certification).
  • Experience in healthcare or related industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
