RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Configuration Services Manager in San Antonio, TX.
Summary:
As a Configuration Services Manager, you will engage in strategic projects to ensure that configuration services can be delivered throughout the bank. You will be responsible for maintaining configuration items (CIs) within ServiceNow and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of configuration data, while also overseeing the configuration management process. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ServiceNow's capabilities, a systematic approach to data management, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Duties Include:
* Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures for effective configuration management
* Configuration Management Planning: Develop and implement configuration management processes and maintain comprehensive documentation
* CI Database Management: Oversee the ServiceNow configuration management database (CMDB) to ensure the accurate representation of all configuration items affecting IT services
* Data Integrity Assurance: Conduct regular audits of the ServiceNow CMDB and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure data accuracy and completeness
* Collaboration and Support: Work collaboratively with IT teams, stakeholders, and other service management functions to integrate configuration management with incident, problem, change, and release management processes
* Reporting and Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for configuration management, providing insights and recommendations to improve service efficiency and effectiveness
* Engage in strategic projects to ensure that configuration items are properly managed, minimizing risks and securing the integrity of the IT infrastructure
* Facilitate configuration management audits to thoroughly confirm adherence to proper laws and regulations
* Review and approve configuration data of significant IT infrastructure changes
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
* 4+ years of related experience in hardware or ITAM
* Proven experience with ServiceNow, particularly in configuration management and CMDB administration
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively
* Demonstrated experience in the configuration line of business
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
Additional Preferred Skills:
* Strong knowledge of ServiceNow and best practices
* Strong Excel skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
