What's the role?
Employee Technical Support help support the operation of the internal technology systems. As the internal front line, we strive for consistent employee experience and thus look for opportunities to improve and streamline our service delivery model across the operation
The team leads more than 1 million service requests annually. In addition, we handle approximately 400+ software titles and supervise our entire corporate network that consists of 28,000 PCs, 50,000 screen displays, and 120,000 network connections.
The Employee Technical Support Intern is an integral member of a team who contributes to the development and completion of projects that vary in size and complexity. You will work under the direction of a team leader.
In addition to your hands-on project work, you'll attend a speaker series, designed to teach you about our company, people, and culture. There will also be plenty of opportunity to meet Bloomberg leaders at a variety of networking events. Of course, we also want to give you the chance to get to know your peers, so together you'll give back to the community at the annual Bloomberg Intern Day of Service, take part in social events including visits to cultural institutions and participate in professional trainings with interns from other departments.
Throughout the internship, you'll be supported by your manager, mentor, and recruiter to ensure you receive regular feedback on your work and help navigating the company.

Salary Range = 26 - 26 USD Hourly
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.

- Participate in a comprehensive training course focused on the technical aspects of the role, learning who the BLP employee is, and best-in-class customer service
- Partner with the Business Operations team (via a mentorship program) to understand more about business intelligence, data analytics, process engineering, automation, and how to leverage data to draw insights and make business decisions
- Work on the desk and support employees with their queries while asking pointed questions to identify the problem and provide the appropriate resolution
- Adopt the Agile working model
- Independent work focused on solving an opportunity/process improvement in Employee Operations.

We're looking for someone with:
- Experience using Microsoft Suite
- Proven curiosity about Bloomberg and our culture
- Effective written and verbal communication skills as you work across departments
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a constantly evolving environment
- Demonstrate autonomy and ownership, while evolving in a team environment
- Availability to commit to the entire intern program length June 1st - August 7th, 2025 (10 weeks) in the New York office
- Currently enrolled in a university with a graduation date from December 2026 and May 2027
- Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States and will not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
