RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Camden, NJ that is seeking an Environmental Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* Develop requirements for the environmental, regulatory, and performance criteria necessary for design of plant systems and structures at the project site
* Support the defense of requirements and associated bases with regulatory and permitting agencies for the project site.
* Develop, track, assign, and complete project action items addressing technical, commercial, and logistical areas
* Work closely with staff planning construction activities to ensure environmental requirements are understood and accounted for
* Review, comments, and manage subcontractor development schedules, procedures, and engineering products, including coordinating with other team resources and cross-team needs to achieve objectives.
* Prepare internal work authorizations (scope, resource estimate and schedule)
* Prepare and deliver technical presentations to internal and external organizations
* Frequent engagement with world-wide subcontractors is expected
* Support development and knowledge exchange within a cross-functional engineering team, comprised of across traditional engineering fields
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering application
* 5+ years of applicable experience
* Ability to plan and organize work tasks and meet deadlines
* Effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
* Excellent attention to detail and capable of producing error-free documents
* Strong problem-solving and computer skills
* Demonstrated experience with project management principles, such as schedule, cost, and quality management
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
