In this role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days (in-office days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

What you'll be doing...
Deliver accurate business forecasts, leveraging multi-data feeds. Owning and developing/enhancing reporting for strategies/actions to deliver short- & long-term joint business plan objectives with Walmart . In this role, you will provide dedicated analytical support to the channel management/sales lead to analyze/report business opportunities, evaluate effectiveness of distribution/promotional strategies, and make recommendations for improvement using internal and external data sources.

Responsibilities:

Provides weekly, monthly & quarterly reporting; identifying relevant insights/trends and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop relevant action plans. Attends retailer meetings and provides analytical expertise in support of Joint Business Plan development, monitoring, and execution. In this role your responsibilities will include:
  • Owning full business forecast, leveraging data feed both internally and externally, apply controls and process to ensure 100% data accuracy. Maintain forecast templates and apply enhancements when necessary.
  • Evaluating distribution/promotional strategies to understand pre/post event business impact. (e.g. business case assessment/LTV modeling, volume lift, ROI, elasticity/quality acquisition)
  • Assessing financial effectiveness to ensure a healthy business model and deliver profitable growth for Verizon and our retail partners. (e.g. COA/R, subsidy, spend efficiency, commissions/residuals)
  • Monitoring ongoing business plan performance to identify gaps/incremental opportunities, driving insights & develop corrective action plans. (e.g. Gross Adds, Churn/Survival Rates, Plan Mix - ARPU/Revenue)
  • Designing, maintaining, and automating KPI dashboards by leveraging internal systems, retailer portals and cross-department data sources.
  • Supporting special projects and ad-hoc reports based on specific business needs (e.g. market/competitive landscape, organizational priorities)

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Advanced Excel.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Proficient in Excel (Multi-imbedded formulation / Versioning and/or VBA and similiar functions).
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering; ideally, an MBA or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline.
  • SQL, SQL Editor for Oracle, and Microsoft Excel experience.
  • Familiarity with data visualization software like COGNOS or Tableau.
  • Experience conducting research or analyses.
  • Managed projects for multiple stakeholders.
