Description

We are looking for a skilled Reprographics Associate to join our team in Houston, Texas. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to handle digital printing, scanning, and finishing tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude and experience in reprographics or related fields.

Responsibilities:
Process high volumes of reprographics requests, including black-and-white and color photocopies.
Operate production printers and copiers, ensuring job settings are correctly input and queues are managed efficiently.
Perform finishing tasks such as laminating, binding, folding, and cutting according to project specifications.
Inspect document quality throughout the production process to ensure accuracy and high standards.
Load copiers with paper and toner as needed to maintain continuous operation.
Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and coordinate service calls when necessary.
Communicate effectively with managers and clients regarding project status and deadlines.
Adhere to quality control procedures to deliver precise and accurate results.
Lift and transport materials up to 50 lbs. regularly as part of daily responsibilities.
Work on your feet for extended periods to meet production demands.

Requirements

At least one year of office service experience, ideally in legal, banking, or large corporate settings.
Proficiency with reprographics equipment and processes, including digital printing and scanning.
Familiarity with finishing equipment such as bindery, laminators, and cutters.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues with printers and copiers.
Effective communication skills to interact with managers and clients.
Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and work while standing for extended periods.
Technical aptitude and adaptability to work with various digital printing systems.
