Management Consultant - Financial Operations AI/ML

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Management Consultant with a strong background in financial operations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing accounting, tax, treasury, and other financial data to identify potential use cases for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) solutions. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide expert guidance to help drive innovation and improve business outcomes through the implementation of AI/ML technologies. The consultant will be responsible for implementing and ensure successful execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Data Analysis: Analyze large volumes of financial data, including accounting records, tax information, treasury reports, and other relevant financial data, to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
• Use Case Identification: Assess and evaluate financial processes, systems, and workflows to determine potential AI/ML use cases that can enhance efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making within the finance domain.
• AI/ML Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders, including finance professionals, data scientists, and IT teams, to develop innovative AI/ML solutions tailored to address specific finance-related challenges and opportunities.
• Feasibility Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies and assess the viability of proposed AI/ML initiatives, considering factors such as data availability, quality, and regulatory requirements, as well as cost-effectiveness and potential ROI.
• Proof of Concept Development: Develop proof of concept (POC) projects to demonstrate the value and potential impact of AI/ML solutions in addressing finance-related challenges. Design, implement, and evaluate POC experiments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in management consulting with a focus on financial operations.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML approaches and their applications in financial operations.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and systems.
• Experience with statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning techniques.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Proven ability to develop and implement successful financial strategies.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
