Job Description

Our client is looking to augment their team with an experienced Principal / Executive Sales Representative, preferably with ERP and/or Government Contracting (GovCon) software sales experience.

We are looking for a hunter, someone who can both sell within the Government Contractor market, as well as work cross-functionally with product and marketing teams to ensure customer success, drive Company's growth, and expand Company's footprint in both existing and emerging markets within a specific product line.

Preference for residing in either the DC or San Diego areas, but this position could also be 100% remote for the right candidate


  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience in enterprise software companies, preferably selling ERP / project management / project controls solutions

  • Strong preference for ERP software sales experience. Preference for government contracting experience as well (GovCon / federal contracting / software sales / etc.)

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, experience with Sales tools including report generation and analysis of output

  • Ability to quickly analyze and identify likely account targets in your territory

  • Experience with Solution Selling, Customer Centric Selling, SPIN Selling, etc.

  • Experience demonstrating strong positioning and presentation skills


  • Identify business opportunities / prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options

  • Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.

  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities.

  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

  • Proactively identify prospects utilizing both tools provided and your own skills in contact identification via social media and other methods.
