Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-visibility initiative focused on digitizing critical financial information in support of regulatory obligations. This position offers the opportunity to coordinate cross-functional teams, guide executive-level alignment, and keep a complex program on track through disciplined project leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong financial project delivery experience, comfort working with external partners and technology teams, and the ability to translate complex processes into clear plans and outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Direct the project from initiation through completion, overseeing planning, communication, execution, and governance while maintaining alignment with timeline, budget, and quality targets.
Build and manage detailed project roadmaps that outline milestones, resource needs, dependencies, and delivery schedules, and adjust plans as priorities evolve.
Lead day-to-day progress across finance, technology, and vendor teams, resolving issues quickly to keep workstreams moving forward.
Coordinate phased delivery efforts by partnering with internal technical teams and an external managed service provider to establish immediate solutions, including manual or interim processes, while supporting longer-term automation goals.
Set up and facilitate governance structures such as steering committees, workstream meetings, decision tracking, risk oversight, and change control to support informed execution.
Identify interdependencies across business functions and ensure project activities are integrated effectively so that deliverables remain consistent with intended scope and outcomes.
Advocate for the team by escalating barriers, aligning stakeholders, and helping secure the support and resources needed for successful delivery.
Maintain complete and compliant project documentation, including procedures, approvals, testing records, plans, and meeting materials, in accordance with internal standards.
Evaluate project needs on an ongoing basis and recommend practical improvements that strengthen execution, scalability, and overall effectiveness.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required.
10+ years of experience managing large, cross-functional projects, including delivery of complex technology-related initiatives.
Strong background in project execution within finance-oriented environments, with experience coordinating internal teams and third-party vendors.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and executive stakeholders, with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Jira, and Confluence.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage risk, scope, and change in fast-moving environments.
Ability to map processes and explain solution approaches clearly for non-technical audiences.
Agile, Scrum, or comparable project management certification is preferred.
