Job Description:

>> Keyword search as Data Observability engineer Data SRE rather than a traditional SRE

>> SRE with ETL, focus on following skills

>> Observability engineering (metricslogstraces, tooling like GrafanaSplunkOTelPrometheus)

>> Data engineering visibility (ETL, lineage, data movement monitoring)

>> SRE principles (incident response, RCA, automation, reliability)

>> HybridSaaSon-prem integration monitoring

Requirements:

>> Strong experience with observability tools (Grafana Splunk Prometheus)

>> Familiarity with distributed tracing (Appd, Open Telemetry)

>> Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation (ansible)

>> ETL and Integration experience

>> Strong understanding of data lineage, data quality, multi-step integration orchestration

>> Familiarity with microservices, API integrations, event driven architecture, KafkaMQ

>> Monitor and troubleshoot horizontal data movement across SAAS, hybrid, on-prem

>> Ability to visualize and monitor complex data flows across multiple systems

>> SAAS Platform support

>> Experience managing SAAS-to-SAAS internal to external, and vendor to in-house integrations

>> Ability to support vendor driven changes and maintain observability coverage

>> Cloud and Platform engineering - Openshift, Kubernetes and containerized environments

>> Familiarity with CICD pipelines

>> Database & SQL - Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB

>> Strong knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks
