Strongly Preferred:
PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certifications.
Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or similar demonstrating cybersecurity expertise.
Experience managing vendor relationships and leading RFP/evaluation processes for security tools and services.
Hands-on experience with security automation, scripting (Python, PowerShell), and API integrations to enhance security operations.
Experience working with MSSPs, security consultants, and external audit firms.
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and experience implementing security controls in CI/CD pipelines.
Experience developing and managing security budgets and resource allocation for security programs.
Proficiency in creating executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations on security program status and risk posture.
Preferred:
Experience in healthcare or health-tech environments with knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture implementation and cloud-native security services (AWS Security Hub, Azure Defender, Google Cloud Platform Security Command Center).
Experience with security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Controls, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
Background in security architecture or security engineering with the ability to provide technical direction on security tool configurations and integrations.
Experience managing security awareness and training programs.
Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their implementation requirements.
Experience with change management processes and driving organizational adoption of security initiatives.
