We are currently seeking an Account Manager who will be responsible for leading and delivering sales strategy execution in the Southeast region.

What we'll get you doing:
  • Assume territorial and account management responsibilities for the Southeast region representing both assigned biopharma and biotech accounts as well as develop regional prospect pipelines.
  • Expand commercial relationships with existing clients for both existing and new offerings from IDBS.
  • Develop and progress new pipeline within the territory to achieve regional and personal targets.
  • Own the development and execution of account plans for target accounts
  • Effectively promote and educate targeted accounts on the challenges the industry is facing and how IDBS provides solutions to positively impact their business through one-on-one meetings, group presentations and company-approved industry conferences, etc.

Here is what success in this role looks like:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of experience (preferably in Life Sciences software sales) & can navigate a 12-18-month sales cycle preferred
  • Accustomed to dealing with complex deals and multiple stakeholders, including VP and C-level decision makers
  • Scientific and Scientific Sales background, with Life science sales preferred
  • Experience in R&D, process development and manufacturing within the biopharma products/industry
  • Ability to travel regularly to customer sites approximately 50%.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Experience with a sales methodology, Challenger Sale preferred

Pay transparency language for locations where it may be required by law:

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is 75,000-120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonincentive pay.
