Senior Data Analyst

Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, improve processes, and optimize performance.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze large datasets using statistical techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations.
2. Develop and implement advanced analytical models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
3. Interpret data, identify key insights, and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and define project requirements.
5. Design and execute A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of new features or initiatives.
6. Create dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics and monitor business performance.
7. Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to improve efficiency.
8. Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data analysis and machine learning.
10. Contribute to data governance initiatives to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
5. Expertise in statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
6. Experience with data mining, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
7. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
9. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
