Title: Senior Transportation Analyst - Inter-Regional Transport
Duration: 12 months contract (Extendable)
Location: New Brunswick, NJ 08901 (100% Onsite)

Pay: $ 30.00 - 35.00/hr on W2 (without Benefits)

Description:
The Senior Analyst IRT is responsible for flawless operational execution of inter-region transport lanes, managed door-to-door. This includes day-to-day issue management, logistics coordination, and project management with freight forwarders, shipping sites, and supply planning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage door-to-door operations for inter-region transport lanes to ensure product availability and top-tier customer experience.

• Lead process improvement projects using methodologies like Six Sigma, FPX, etc., to drive transport reliability and cost efficiency.

• Present performance metrics and project updates to various management levels.

• Coordinate track & trace and manage exceptions for inter-region transportation lanes.

• Lead and participate in vendor management meetings and oversee tactical vendor relationships.

• Partner with distribution centers and manufacturing facilities to manage inter-regional freight.

• Collaborate with Pharmaceutical Delivery Quality to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Serve as the primary contact for issues affecting shipments (e.g., missing documents, freight delays, quality events).

• Perform ad-hoc operational analytics to improve day-to-day efficiency.

• Support global bid activities for inter-region transport, including requirement gathering, baseline validation, and metric-based implementation.

• Provide support for critical event management in other geographic regions.

• Act as SME for launches, continuous improvement projects, and customer service initiatives.

• Support sourcing-led tenders and manage related lane implementations.

• Follow SOPs for lane changes or new routing/customer implementations.

• Foster collaboration across the supply chain and build strong external partnerships.

• Promote a culture of speed, agility, accountability, and constructive communication.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of experience.

• Preferred background in Planning, Distribution, Manufacturing, Transportation, Logistics, Customer Service, or Supply Chain Operations.

• Strong technical judgment to assess risk and triage operational issues.

• Proficiency in MS Office.

• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, GNATT, RACI, Lessons Learned, FMEA).

• Comfortable reading data analytics using Alteryx and Tableau.

• Ability to challenge norms and collaborate across hierarchical levels and cultures.

• Experience working in matrix environments.

• Must have: International operations/transportation exposure.

• Fluent in English.

Preferred:

• Experience or certification in Six Sigma/Process Excellence.

• Fluency in other languages is a plus.
