About the RoleWe are seeking a Software Engineer to design and deliver scalable workflow and automation solutions using enterprise Atlassian tools. This role focuses on building modern, efficient systems that improve intake processes, streamline workflows, and enhance operational scalability.
You will work on complex engineering initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help drive digital transformation through automation, integration, and API-driven solutions.
What You'll Do- Design and implement intake, workflow, and automation solutions using the Atlassian suite (Jira, Jira Service Management, Jira Assets)
- Build scalable integrations using APIs and automation frameworks
- Collaborate in an agile environment to deliver high-impact solutions aligned with modernization goals
- Analyze complex technical challenges and develop long-term, scalable solutions
- Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and translate technical strategies into business outcomes
- Ensure solutions meet compliance, security, and operational standards
- Contribute to architectural decisions, including data integration and system design
Minimum Qualifications- 5+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent practical experience)
- Experience administering Jira Service Management or Jira (Cloud or Data Center)
- Strong experience working with APIs and system integrations
- Solid understanding of software architecture and data integration principles
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications- 5+ years of hands-on development experience in one or more: Python, Java, Perl, React, or .NET
- Experience with orchestration frameworks and backend development (e.g., Java, C#, Python)
- Proven track record designing and delivering secure, scalable APIs
- Experience building automation solutions within enterprise platforms
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools
