Job Title: IT Security Analyst IV
Client: VDOT
Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid)
Interview: In-Person Only
Type: Contract

Job Description:
Seeking a senior-level IT Security Analyst to oversee security risk, compliance, vulnerability management, and security operations for VDOT. Candidate must have leadership experience and the ability to manage highly complex security initiatives independently.

Responsibilities:
Monitor, analyze, and advise on agency-wide IT security controls
Coordinate and manage IT security projects
Lead incident response and remediation planning
Develop & publish security policies, procedures, and standards
Conduct audits, assessments, and data classification reviews
Manage security vulnerabilities in collaboration with VITA and Internal Audit
Create and maintain security awareness programs
Prepare and maintain documentation, alerts, and security communications
Perform ongoing security research & updates

Required Skills:
12+ years IT/security leadership on complex projects
7+ years hands-on IT Security experience
Security audit, vulnerability & incident response
Policy development & governance
Strong communication & cross-functional leadership
