Team Description:
Our Technology team is responsible for the development and implementation of a future technology strategy to support multiple lending business lines in several divisions across the firms. The group is responsible for supporting all functions within each lending business, including underwriting, origination, securitization, loan servicing, asset management, and more.
Role Description:
We are looking for an experienced developer to help with modernizing a complex internal system that directly supports one of the most critical business functions of the company.
The candidate will work on a global team of developers and Strats.
Role and responsibilities:
• Collaborate directly with business users, Strats and tech across front and back-office business areas
• Analyze and redesign existing solutions
• Develop and automate financial models and data feeds testing
• Develop, monitor, and validate the quality of incoming and outgoing data feeds
Required skills:
• 7+ year of experience in Perl and Python languages
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design best-practices
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills - engaging directly with business users
• Solid experience in data feed validation and regression testing.
Desired Skills:
• Experience in developing complex financial products or financial models
• Experience and interest working in a multi-language environment is a plus
• Experience working with data analytics tooling is a plus
• Experience in Q/KDB is an asset
• Experience in Release Management and Production Support
