Quality Assurance Automation Engineer
Client: Multinational Manufacturer
Location: Greenville, South Carolina (Hybrid, Local candidates only)
Compensation: Excellent Salary + Benefits, PTO, Sick-time, & 401k contributions.
Duration: Contract – CTH for the right person.
My client is a Multinational Manufacturer that is developing new innovative products and systems in the Greenville area. My client is looking for a highly-motivated Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, who is eager to work on leading edge projects and has a passion for automation and process efficiencies. This is a potential contract to hire opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain both manual and automation test cases based on the business requirements and technical requirements.
- Execute manual and automated tests for web applications.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot, and triage issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, EPMs & QA engineers to understand features in-depth & write detailed test plans.
- Collaborate with the SRE team to set up monitors to monitor the product performance.
- Contribute to release management.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3+ years of hands-on QA automation experience.
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of software quality assurance practice.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies
- Experience in Jenkins, JIRA, Selenium, NightWatch, SoapUI, JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of Continuous Integration and Testing tools
- Working knowledge of any scripting language (Bash shell, Java, Python, Perl, Ruby)
- Basic database skills for writing SQL query writing and back-end validation
