Come join the "Intuit Data Team" and get involved in building the next generation data platform for Intuit. Intuit is on a mission to democratize data (data mesh) at scale and this team is building the foundational components for it.

We are looking for someone who has passion for data, understands the concerns of clean data and data quality.

Qualifications

  • Meaningful experience with designing and building cloud-native infrastructure
  • Experience implementing CI/CD infrastructures
  • Strong experience managing cloud-based production environment (AWS, Azure, and Google)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform, Cloudformation, CDK)
  • Coding in Python/Java/Go/C# (or another equivalent), combined with strong operational skills
  • Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS
  • Experience Debugging and troubleshooting complex problems in the cloud
  • A quick learning curve, ability to rapidly and independently take on new technologies and technical challenges
  • Team player possessing strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills. Able to influence, presenting and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people
  • Demonstrated ability to work with global teams across time zones

Responsibilities

  • Design and build data persistence infrastructure handling thousands of transitions per second
  • Design, build and operate Cloud infrastructure to enable reliable and rapid CI/CD of microservices with effective monitoring and resilient operations
  • Define standards and best practices for the data organization. You will review code and provide feedback.
  • Be an essential part of the roadmap and strategy for the data organization.
  • Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams including product management, various product lines, and/or business units to drive forward results
  • Operation & Support - participate in the on-call rotation supporting the 24x7 availability of the platform and the production application
  • Leverage Infrastructure-As-Code technologies such as Terraform and CDK to automate the build-out of cloud native services
  • Automate processes wherever possible to reduce repetitive manual effort
