Job Title: Data Governance / Data Steward Professional
Location: NJ, DE, FL
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Data Governance / Data Steward to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance across the organization. This role will define data standards, manage metadata, and collaborate with business and technical teams to enforce governance policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and maintain data standards, definitions, and policies
Monitor and improve data quality and consistency
Manage metadata, data lineage, and data catalogs
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
Collaborate with business and IT teams to resolve data issues
Use governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica) for stewardship activities
Requirements:
3 5 years in data governance, stewardship, or data management
Knowledge of data quality frameworks and compliance standards
Experience with metadata and data catalog tools
Strong communication and analytical skills
Familiarity with SQL and cloud platforms (preferred)
