Title: PeopleSoft Analyst IV
Location: Madison, WI,53703-Hybrid from Wisconsin
Duration: until 6/30/26 with extensions possible
Hrs./Wk.: 40/hr. Wk.
Interview Process: Virtual via Teams. Candidates should be prepared to interview between Dec 15-Dec 22. Applicants may not use AI tools/assistants during the interview process.
Note: Candidates must be WI residents or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. Hybrid role with 1 day onsite per month.
Project:
- PeopleSoft HCM and FSCM Production support and enhancements.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience with PeopleTools technology in PeopleSoft HCM and FSCM.
- Work involves analyzing business requirements, procedures, and problems to design and build solutions.
- Maintain or enhance existing systems via application development; systems integration; writing complex programs; and giving technical assistance to programming and functional personnel
Responsibilities:
- Support PeopleSoft ERP system through application development efforts. This includes analysis, design, build, test, implementation and support of reports, interfaces and extensions.
- Ensure the Development Section process, standards and structures are implemented, adhered to and improved upon.
- Prepares detailed analyses, plans, diagrams, and procedures within a technical design document for existing and proposed PeopleSoft applications.
- Assists business analysts and users in defining a project or problem, feasibility of the project and provides estimates for a project or problem solution.
- Determines the effort involved in implementing new systems or enhancements to existing systems due to changes in user requirements, legislative mandates, new software releases, changes in equipment configurations, etc.
- Suggests technical solutions to enhance business processing efficiency of existing and/or new processes.
- Demonstrates developed functionality to functional team prior to the implementation of new or revised technical systems and offers advice and guidance during the implementation process.
- Performs on-call or scheduled after-hours work as required.
- Trains and mentors State staff.
- Attends work regularly in accordance with agency leave and attendance policies.
