job summary:

The key responsibilities / deliverables are as follows (but not limited to):



  • First point of contact for end business users in Rates
  • Ownership and delivery of on-boarding support of or processes into the MAPS organization
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders, application development personnel, and infrastructure contacts

responsibilities:



  • Monitoring and alerting of critical trading system environments
  • Troubleshooting of complex systems issues
  • Proactive identification and resolution of problem hotspots
  • Development of tools and driving efficiency/stability improvements




qualifications:


  • Must Have Skills:
  • Strong SQL, plus Python and Shell scripting
  • L1 Trade Application Support
  • Need high energy and ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Degree and excellent written and verbal communication
  • ITSM tools such as Service Now, Remedy or Symantec. Should know the Incident Management Lifecyclye
  • Capital Markets experience
  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 8 years of experience
  • Education: Bachelors

  • Product knowledge - Rates SME, greeks PV, Delta, Gamma and derivatives risk, Government Bonds, Agencies, Futures, Swaps, Inflation-linked products, US Treasuries and Bills
  • Market data - yield curves, funding curves, volatility / correlation surfaces (general understanding / familiarity)
  • Nice to have
  • Broadway, LIST, Valantic experience
  • Familiarity or basic coding knowledge of Python, .NET, or Java applications
  • Awareness of MiFid2 and its impact on pre-trade
  • FIX protocol
  • Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry
