Description
We are looking for an experienced Help Desk Analyst III to join our team in San Diego, California. In this role, you will provide advanced technical support, oversee IT systems reliability, and handle escalated issues while contributing to strategic IT projects. This position is critical in maintaining secure and efficient operations across multiple locations, requiring a proactive approach to system management and user support.
Responsibilities:
Deliver advanced technical support for computing devices, data center hardware, and software applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues from Tier 1 support to ensure seamless operations.
Administer user accounts, including the creation, updates, and removal of accounts during onboarding and offboarding processes.
Configure new end-user computer systems and manage related security measures, including system and BIOS updates.
Conduct regular system audits to monitor performance and ensure reliability across IT/IS systems.
Lead IT projects, including hardware and software upgrades, with collaboration from management.
Maintain detailed records of IT assets and manage inventory control efficiently.
Assist in the evaluation and testing of new technologies to assess their suitability for organizational needs.
Support facilities management tasks, including office security and badging.
Ensure compliance with industry security standards and assist with maintaining ISO 27001 certification documentation.
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Windows, and Office 365.
Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies, VMware environments, and endpoint security protection.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex IT environments effectively.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams and conduct IT training.
Familiarity with IT procurement processes and budget management.
Minimum of five years' experience in a technical support role with increasing responsibilities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
Relevant certifications in Cisco, Microsoft, or VMware technologies are highly desirable.
