Wiring Harness designer/Engineer (W2-Onsite-Full Time)

Position: Wiring Harness designer/Engineer (W2- Full Time) Location: Horsham, PA (onsite only) Duration: Full Time Experience 7+ years MOI: Phone & WebEx Implementation: L&T

Key words
o MUST HAVE SOLIDWORKS EXPERIENCE
o Must have reverse engineer experience
o Participate in initial conceptual development and carefully balance product specifications, process control requirements, component selection, control architecture, cost, limits.
o Design the system Power Distribution, control architecture and system field cabling/interconnect including Process and instrumentation.
o Design Power Distribution System using CAD system
o Design and development of harness deign.
o Responsible to manage and direct technicians to implement electrical works
o Define system interconnect/schematic and Key control/automation components.
o Coordinate with peers in other engineering groups to ensure that the design criteria are synchronized within all disciplines to meet the requirements.
o Work closely with project managers and electrical team members to ensure all expectations and specifications are translated into the final design.
o Organize and manage offsite engineers deliverable to ensure meet regulatory, VEECO Standards and equipment specification.
o Execute, implement, and support VEECO Standards and Buy off process.
o Enforce application of VEECO standards, Manage suppliers during specification, design review, design approval.
o Handle the electrical system control and wiring harness development
o Problem solving on any electrical design problem, issue, and best practice solutions.
o Familiarity and hand on troubleshooting Power Distribution and wiring harness Design
o Design electrical control schematic including Cable ASM
o Interface with mechanical team/vendors to support Actuator/stage/motors selection.
