Location: Austin, Texas (ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES)
Work Mode: HYBRID 3 Days Onsite & 2 Days Remote

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Lead ServiceNow Developer/Administrator to lead an end-to-end ServiceNow implementation for the State of Texas.
This role combines hands-on ServiceNow development, administration, and technical leadership, requiring a strong command of ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and integration best practices.
The selected candidate will guide project delivery, system configuration, workflow customization, and automation processes, ensuring high-quality implementations that align with agency objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee end-to-end ServiceNow implementation projects.
Configure, customize, and integrate ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, ITAM, IRM, and SecOps.
Develop and maintain Configuration Management Databases (CMDB), workflows, and automation scripts.
Design solutions for User Provisioning, Ticketing, Reporting, and Process Automation.
Lead process flow analysis, ensure system integrity, and maintain documentation for technical designs and configurations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption.
Serve as a ServiceNow Administrator handling daily platform support and optimization.
Minimum Qualifications:
Certifications (Mandatory):
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Implementation Certification
Experience:
15+ years of total IT experience.
5+ full-cycle ServiceNow implementations as a Lead Developer.
Deep knowledge of ITIL, ITSM, and automation workflows.
Expertise in LDAP, AD, SSO, REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, ServiceNow Discovery, and Service Graph Connectors.
Proven experience in integration with Azure AD, Mid Server, and COTS/SaaS products.
Skilled in JavaScript, SQL, and programming best practices.
Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working with State Agencies (highly preferred).
Familiarity with Change Management, Incident Management, Asset Management, and Service Catalog.
Experience collaborating with distributed/remote teams.
