Knoxville, TN | Desktop Support | Full-time We are actively recruiting for a Desktop Support role for our client in Knoxville, TN.  This is an on-site, direct hire position.  The Desktop Support professional will be supporting a Microsoft environment and solid interpersonal skill are a must as you will be interacting/supporting employees of all levels. Due to client's request, candidates must be a for this position.
Responsibilities:

  • First line of desktop support for all employees
  • Ability to assist with hardware/software issues
  • Ability to log all support requests into ticketing system
  • Provide end user support/training when applicable.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate team members
  • PC support, set up/configuration 
  • Basic TCP/IP networking protocols
  • Microsoft Outlook/Office/Word/PowerPoint/Excel

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • 2 years' relevant experience in the field of IT
