Our client is seeking a professional and enthusiastic AV Installer/Technician to join their team in Charleston, SC. This role involves the installation and servicing of audio-visual infrastructure across a variety of environments including K-12 schools, higher education institutions, auditoriums, and places of worship. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude who enjoys working in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Our client is seeking a professional and enthusiastic AV Installer/Technician to join their team in Charleston, SC. This role involves the installation and servicing of audio-visual infrastructure across a variety of environments including K-12 schools, higher education institutions, auditoriums, and places of worship. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude who enjoys working in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and service AV systems including distributed audio/video, speakers, amplifiers, video screens, digital signage, and related cabling.
- Work with AV control systems such as Crestron, BiAmp, Q-SYS, and other industry-standard platforms.
- Occasionally lead small AV installation projects with a crew of up to 3 technicians.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely and high-quality installations.
- Support staging, lighting, and sound setup as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations and service calls.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in AV installation or related technical field.
- Familiarity with AV systems and components (Creston, BiAmp, Q-SYS, CTS certifications are a plus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and pass a DOT physical.
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
